The Stop the Bleed First Aid Course equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to act quickly and effectively during a bleeding emergency—before professional medical help arrives. This course combines classroom instruction with hands-on training to teach participants how to identify life-threatening bleeding and apply proven bleeding control techniques. Students will learn how to use direct pressure, properly apply tourniquets, and pack wounds using commercially available and improvised materials. What You Will Learn - How to recognize life-threatening external bleeding - The three methods of bleeding control: direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application - Proper use of commercial tourniquets and pressure bandages - When and how to apply wound packing safely and effectively - Scene safety and rapid decision-making during emergencies - How to respond confidently until emergency medical services arrive Who This Course Is For This course is designed for everyday citizens, workplaces, schools, community groups, firearm owners, range participants, and anyone who wants to be prepared to respond in an emergency. Cancellation Policy: Please book at least 7 days ahead due to range availability. If a class is listed but you cannot book it, the course is either less than 7 days ahead or sold out. please call/text 626-901-0578 or email Info@vettraininggroup.com to request booking. Cancellation or reschedule is permitted 72 hrs ahead of class with a full refund available (5-10 business days). There are no refunds if less than 72 hrs notification is given by the student or no shows. Cancellation must be submitted via email; we do not accept phone cancellations.
