P320 Platform Prohibited from VTG Courses

In light of ongoing safety concerns, FBI report, and multiple documented incidents involving unintended discharges with the SIG Sauer P320—some resulting in serious injury—Veterans Training Group has made the decision to prohibit the use of all variants of the SIG Sauer P320 in our training courses, effective immediately.

While we recognize SIG Sauer’s prominence in the firearms industry, our first and foremost responsibility is to the safety of our students, instructors, and range partners. The pattern of legal cases and reported malfunctions surrounding the P320 platform presents an unacceptable liability risk in both live-fire and dry-fire environments.

This policy applies to:

All factory models of the P320 (including XCarry, M17, M18, and Legion series)

Modified or aftermarket-adjusted variants

Both civilian and law enforcement-owned models

Students arriving to class with a P320 will be offered the opportunity to train using an approved rental firearm, or reschedule to attend with a compliant platform.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we maintain the highest safety standards across all training sessions.

If you have questions or need guidance selecting an approved alternative firearm for training, please contact us directly at 626-322-8325 or info@vettraininggroup.com
